So Rae hit me up for a collab shoot sometime last February after she found out about my page, we shared couple of ideas and set up the date immediately. We met and shot at Palos Verdes looking for some nature vibes, at first location she was wearing this beautiful red dress that really look great on her, then we went for some more casual and fun shoot for the next set. While talking to her, she said that she's into film making which I admire, she started at a young age and definitely has bright future. I also learned after the fact that she was part of TeensReact, how cool is that right?
Check out the interview and photo gallery below and make sure to follow her as well!
Q: How do you describe yourself in three words?
A: Spontaneous, loud, friendly
Q: How and when did you started modeling?
A: Sophomore year in high school I decided I wanted my Instagram to be more “professional” looking since i was gaining a lot of followers from my role on TeensReact, so I asked my friends who were in photography to take some pics of me and I fell in love with modeling! especially since I'm way too short in real life to model for a legitimate agency, creating content on IG is super fun.
Q: What is the best thing about modeling/ collabing with other creatives?
A: I absolutely love meeting up with new people, whether they’re other models or photographers or mua’s or whatever!! personally, I love making new friends and connections and seeing how different each person is and what they love about life is one of my favorite things about meeting up with new people.
Q: What is your biggest achievement as a model or in general?
A: My biggest achievement in general is my film-making; besides modeling and being on YouTube, my passion in life is film-making. Last October a few of my short films were shown at the AMC theater in times square and I won some awards for those videos too! These moments in my film career are my biggest accomplishments in life.
Q; Who are your modeling inspo and creatives you wanna work with in the future?
A: Justine Biticon is one of my favorite models- I love that not only is she biracial, but she’s not your average super skinny stick model and I love it! she’s got a really athletic body which I think is super cool for a model of her status. I would love to work with her!
Q: Any future plans or goals with your modeling career?
A: For me, modeling is just a fun thing to do to meet new people and relive stress. I don’t take it super seriously because I think once you focus too intensely on something fun, you lose the meaning behind it. so as of right now, i’m just going with the flow!
